How would I know if a duffle bag I found on eBay is an authentic COACH bag?

It is used, but is in excellent condition. It has the creed patch on the inside with 5 letters %26amp; 4 numbers on the bottom of the patch. The buckles have Coach engraved on them. It also has a leather tab with Coach Leatherware Est. 1941 stamped on it. Does this sound like an authentic Coach Duffle Bag?

How can I find a good online poker coach?

Hi,

I want to take my online poker game to the next level, and I think it's time to get a coach.

As you know, there are tons of people who claim to be poker coaches,

How do I know they are not just gonna throw some things they learned from a book at me and take my money?

How do I select the best coach for the best price?

I play Sit N Go Tournaments.|||Try having a good coach which will teach you all the basics and the new and advanced methods. But instead try your game on free online casino provider sites also, like FullTilt Poker and PokerStars but on their .NET domains. As the .COM domains are the real money games provider sites.

An free online poker site will become a best coach at best price.

Read the reviews of some good poker rooms at http://www.casinosdiary.com/poker-rooms/|||I think taking private poker lessons are basically meaningless, unless you find the perfect coach. A friend of mine took lessons from a guy with one of the best stats around. This guy was a mid-high stakes SNG player. He obviously did not know what's in the mind of low-mid level players and his game strategy had nearly no chance of success at the stakes my friend was playing.

I think best way to improve your game is playing more games yourself, reading hand histories, reviewing your mistakes and reading some discussions on specific hands posted at forums like 2+2.. Nothing is like experience, and it's not like you'll certainly lose money trying that.|||It's tough to find the right coach for you. I would recommend signing up for trials at a few of the coaching sites and then finding somebody who plays alot of SNGs that you can relate to. There are many different styles of SNG player and you need someone that can relate to your style. Some of the better training sites include Card Runners, Leggo Poker, Poker Savvy, Deuces Cracked, Blue Fire Poker, Grinder School.|||I make over 50 dollars an hour playing low limit poker online, I usually play an hour at a time, sometimes I make a few hundred sometimes I break even, and sometimes I lose but overall I make that much an hour

, its VERY easy I can do it without doing much thinking these days, I make more than my lawyer friends and doctor friends and they envy me because I work when I want. I dont even consider it work.

Sometimes I goto the casinos and play and its always like printing money..

If you want assistance with this I can be contacted at imighthaveit at gmail dot com|||You are absolutely right that there are a lot of coaches who are bad, break even players, didn't play much poker and teach how to play.

To be honest even on the card runners a lot of coaches are break even or barely making money. When you find a poker coach ask him to show him the actual and recent winnings record to confirm.

If he will refuse, saying something about his credibility, who he is and bla bla bla... big chance he doesn't make money. Or if he made some money it was long time ago... when the game was different.

Hopefully you are playing with the poker rakeback? If not it's the common mistake between novice poker players and it's really to fix it. Poker rakeback is basically a free money to your pocket while you playing online poker.

Find out more what the rakeback is here: http://www.rakebackinn.com/menu/faq

The sign up is free and once you have signed you will get poker rakeback for a lifetime!

Hope that helps

And good luck to you at the tables ;)|||Ok here are two good links. I know that Haseebs Qureshi videos are excellent. I have watched some of them myself. But, I did not want to pay the fee to join Cardrunners. Last time I checked it was $225 for a year and out of the trial videos that they showed only Haseebs videos were any good. The rest were a bunch of 18 year old guys talking about pussy and eating corn dogs, and talking about how good they were going to do at next years WSOP, and how they were going to get laid. Sorry, but these guys get paid to teach and I watched a 10 minute vid to learn poker, but all I learned was that they liked blonds with big ****. But I see now that they have added more instructors, so you can probably weed out the idiots.

http://www.cardrunners.com/instructors/

But, if I was going to sign up and pay for a site now? Phil Galfond is the man. His training site is below. Problem is he plays cash, you said you play SNG's. Even though he is one of the best in the world--he is still underrated. Even Durrrr gave him huge respect and out of all people in the world, Dwan said that Phil was the only person who he would NOT play in his Durrrr Challenges on Full tilt.

http://www.bluefirepoker.com/

So now you just have to figure out, will Bluefire help with SNG's or will Cardplayer meet your needs? Play with both sites and see. Good luck.

How can I impress a coach on a campus visit to their college?

Im going on a campus visit to meet the coach tour the school and watch them play....how can i impress the coach into letting me play for him or come back on official visit.|||Impress him with showmanship, give him a no quitters mentality !! Never say die, attitude !!

Also listen to what he has to say, but do what matters the most, and that is impress him on the court !!|||How did u even get that far. I am averaging 25 points 19 boards 5 assists 5 blocks and 6 steals! I am a JR. and i cant get any college to look at me!

What are good requirements for a volunteer cheer leading coach?

I'm trying to get cheer leading in my school and my principal said we could have it if we find a volunteer coach. soo that's what i'm trying to do. if u have any advice it is greatly appreciated.|||Someone who has a background in cheer, gymnastics, or dance. Maybe one of the mothers of a student did cheer, or you may have a local gymnastics academy or dance instruction in your town.

Where can we find good coach for kids in our apartment ?

We would need coach who have 'been there and done that'. We have a swimming pool, basketball court and space to practice football, karate and roller skating.

For swimming we would prefer an additional lady coach.|||In Bangalore, you could try Sports Coach Academy (http://www.sportscoach.in), where sports coach are available for various sports.

Currently, my son is getting trained in basketball and football.

What is the best/economic way to train to be a life coach?

I would like to add life coaching to my holistic/energy healing practice. Would like to train as a life coach, but want to get my monies worth. Most programs just seem like over-priced fluff! Ideas anyone? Thanks!|||Watch "Starting Over" where there are like 5 or 6 life coaches floating around.

You can call yourself a life coach with your holistic practice.

How do I do better at soccer if the coach is always focusing on his annoying son?

I am a good soccer player but the stupid coach puts me and the other players except his annoying son who thinks he is the best in the world. Should I switch teams or tell what I think of him to his face?|||Hey you need to put bad coaches, bad players and any other outside sources aside. You cannot control them or what they do... all you can control is your own actions.

First of all you need to start training on your own - work to improve the basic ball skills, dribbling, shooting, passing, and ball control.

Work to improve your fitness: strength, power, speed, acceleration, endurance, and flexibility.

Next you need to always give your best effort on the field. Remember you only have one chance to play that game so leave it all out there. be the hardest working player on the field.

You should also start watching professional Soccer at least 1 game per week, you can learn so much from pros.

You can get more training advice and tips from the link below. You may also want to take a look at Soccer Success Secrets - The Ultimate Soccer Training Guide - This can help you improve your game in so many different ways and really put you ahead of the competition. I'll put the link below as well.|||Its not like the world is filled with people dying to be soccer coaches. Sometimes you have to work with what you've got. I would suggest trying to understand the talent and the dynamics of your team. Then try to forge your talents with the needs of the team. But don't burn any bridges yet : )

If things don't change it then becomes your decision whether or not to leave the team - stay with your friends but don't learn skills or go to a new team but learn and play soccer.|||Tell him what you think, and than if you would want (you probably will be forced to, bu who cares? )change a team!

What are professional women looking for in a life coach?

I am a life and business coach. I worked as an attorney for twenty years. I believe that there are many boomer professional women out there that are well educated and have pursued their careers diligently.

Now, about 15 to 20 years into it, they feel burnt out and they feel afraid. They rely on their jobs and the income it provides but they are not happy.

I want to hear what issues they are facing and what is on their minds.|||I know someone who calls herself a life coach. She preaches about all these techniques like EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique. She claims to have an advanced degree but there's no record of education to prove it. Her personal situation is pathetic. She has no capacity for planning anything or following through on her goals. She is in severe financial distress and is losing her house due to mortgage foreclosure. Yet, she has continued to schedule some kind of life improvement classes and teach people how to live better lives.

There are women out there who can and do benefit from life coaches. Sometimes all they need is to see their life through someone else's eyes in order to get a better perspective so they can make more informed decisions.

What a life coach needs to be is transparent. A life coach also has to be human and have flaws - and then show that those flaws are not necessarily an obstacle to success. A life coach has to be the example.|||God knows I've had enough of them myself, and I'm a male. Folks seem to be put off by women out there doing the same thing. (We had a question here yesterday asking a definition of a "B-oitch" (sp?)) I answered it that what we call that is a woman who has a male aggression. Is a woman being aggressive wrong? Only if it's wrong for a male. Yes, culturally, there are still many unrecognized discriminations. While I prefer Galatians 3:28 ("There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus"), pretty much everyone else will see a woman and think, "This can't be." The woman will need a life coach around those uncharted waters.|||what has this to do with womensoccer

I know because I was shopping for a Louis Vuitton monogram wallet and it costs like $250 retail which is fine but I was looking up the stuff on ebay which is all fake and my friend has one but you really cannot tell the difference and he only paid $50 for his.|||Ok,

well generally, fakes have terrible Sticthing.

Also too, on the handles, you will see paint peeling , instead of the leather getting a patina, because fake ones are painted.

Also look at the tags, most likely, they will be missing or the spelling/ font will be off.

What should i do to become a college football coach?

i would like to be a college coach and work with the o-line. i have played football but i don't think that playing in college will be an option and would like to start out as a graduate assistant.I am about to start college an would like to know what i should do to help achieve this dream.|||Probably get in as an equipment manager, or assistant to one of the coaches (not an assistant coach). Or maybe you could get in as an assistant at one of the local high-schools where you go to college, anything to start building your resume at this point.|||You obviously can't be a graduate assistant seeing as you haven't graduated college yet. You could try to be a student assistant at the college you attend, but that usually envolves jockstrap cleaning and ***** work rather than learning a ton about coaching. Most high schools require you to be 21 years old or work in their school system to get an official coaching position. The best way to coach is to play. You need to attempt to walk on a team and tell the coach you don't mind being a practice dummy because your ultimate goal is to coach one day. Most schools don't hire people they don't know making college football today a fraternity. Look at some of the most prominent coaches today such as Urban Meyer of the University of Florida (walk on at University of Cincinnati). Mack Brown of the University of Texas (walk on at Florida State University) and Nick Saban of the University of Alabama (Quarterback at Kent State). Coaches and AD's don't trust their entire program to people they don't know... you need to let people know you by playing and after your 4 years of being practice team, you can have your shot at being a graduate student/assistant at that school or another with your coaches help.|||Well you need some type of experience, you should go to your high school and try coaching the O-Line over there and basically get your name out there... You need experience before you can become a coach in any sport.

What are some requirements to be a college volleyball coach?

I am doing a project for school and part of it is What our "dream job" is. Volleyball is a big love of mine and i plan to keep playing past high school. What would be some requirements to become a college volleyball coach? And, if anyone knows a good college to play volleyball at, that would be amazing too. Thanks!|||You can coach any D3 team with limited coaching experience and no degree as long as you are a good player.

Some requirements i'd consider necessary:

College level playing experience (not necessarily D1)

Coaching experience (working your way up the ladder)

Having a degree would help in a competitive market

I know 4 girls, all under 30 years old who coach college teams, only one of them has a degree related to fitness (physical therapy).

Why was the story about the Wake Forest Baseball coach donating a kidney to his player so important?

The story tries to damp down the extreme racism practiced by blacks against whites these days.|||The story is about an extremely unusual event -- a sports coach caring so much about his players as individuals that he will give one of his own kidneys to a youth who needs one. How often do you suppose that happens? Probably even less often than "man bites dog," the "classic" definition of a news story.

How can you tell the difference between a fake Coach bag and a real one?

What is the most popular coach bag out there?

Im getting a coach bag for someone and i dont really know what kind to get. So what is the most popular coach bag? PLEASE HELP ME!|||Poppy bags are good for teens. When I see adults using them, it strikes me as odd.

For adults, I personally like the 'hailey', 'mia', 'kristin', 'madison' (though the newer colors are kind of pricey), and 'julia'. My favorite of the 5 is the Kristin OP Art Sateen Large Hobo in black :)

For teens, most Poppy items are great. I like the new Poppy Signature Sateen Lurex Jazzy bag :) I find it adorable. Especially in the tealish turquoise color.

What is required to become a figure skating coach?

So right now I am looking into colleges and just wondering what classes would you need to take to become a figure skating coach and what would be required? Also does anybody know any good colleges for this type of work?|||i saw on some other questions of yours that your in grade 11. |||There really isn't a "class" to become a figure skating coach. It's more what type of experience you have in the field. Build on your resume, ask around at local rinks if they need coaches or assistants. The best thing to do would be to work with the Basic Skills Group Lessons and try and gain private lesson students through that. It also depends on what your interested in coaching. Consider meeting, in person, with the athletic director or possibly the school principle and respectfully discuss your thoughts.

Unfortunately, unless you are directly involved with the team, parents have no say in team related decisions, ie. playcalling, playing time, practice schedule, and coaching personnel.

So with that said, keep in mind that technically your opinion or evaluation of the current coach means absolutely nothing to anyone who can change the situation.|||Get the other teammates who share the same feelings as you and make an appointment with the principal or something to talk about it. Maybe even get your parents involved to send the message loud and clear so the principal will feel pressured to talk to the coach to settle things.|||dont direspect him but become a leader and show that u need to unite the team to win rather then play favs.

What do you guys think ?|||I think working with youth as a coach should be considered as a form of social work. You have given guidance and direction to those young people. You have nothing to lose by discussing this with a counsellor before you apply.

Good luck|||cheater, I know where you live

|||In general NO....unless you are working with youth in an under-served community - youth who would be considered "at-risk", etc.

Now it is still experience working with people - but it is not a social service if it is a recreational program (it is recreational services).

Do you have any other experience? You might want to do some volunteer work in another setting - or being a big sister, etc.

Getting into an MSW program is about your GPA, your essay, references and experience.

How do I assistant coach girls softball in the inner-city with difficult mothers?

I am at the point where I feel it was a bad idea to return to where I grew up in order to coach. I deal with irrate mothers (haven't seen a dad all season) who do not know the game, yet complain that we are doing things wrong or treating their child unfair.

They disrespect me on the sidelines in front of my kids and family. They contradict our coaching on the field and in practice, sometimes calling their child away while we are speaking to them.

These attitudes leak into their children who feel they don't have to listen. I have had to tell some kids they can only work with the head coach, because they are so unruly.

Ironically, the head coach is only their for his child and does not know the game well, so I became his assistant rather than remove my child from the team. I am the one teaching the girls fundamentals, because the coach can't. Through it all we are undefeated.

Since I'm hands on, all the parent's anger is towards me and I'm at my breaking point.|||I sympathize with you. I am not athletic but my entire family is. My dad had coached kids. My brother played ball all his life - he finally quit and coached his girls. He went through almost the same thing. They were not disrespectful to him but came to him with every gripe. AND no help. I went to watch his daughter once (because of my schedule I could not go a lot that year); he was alone in coaching as his wife was off at a younger daughters game. He was doing everything and parents were standing in line to talk to him. He got a call (this was just before a tournament) that one poor mother had barely got her car into a service station a couple of miles away (she had broken down). These stupid people heard him on the phone but no one offered anything. He had to come and ask me and I had to go and try to find people who did not have the slightest idea what I looked like. I found them of course because of the child's uniform color. This is the kind of support he had.

And to top it off, these were NOT inter-city people. Where he lived (he was very successful) is a wealthier section. Many wealthy people live there. He was not wealthy but has a good job and chose to go to a nicer area because of the schools. So many of these people did not even have both parents who had to work. And they had easier lives with nice cars, enough money to buy dinner out frequently, etc.

Honey I feel for you, it is the same everywhere no matter what the income level. One of the years my brother coached, my niece (his daughter) spent most of the time in the dug-out yelling "LISTEN, MY DAD IS TALKING."

Many times, he got off work, dragged the fields, hauled the equipment, coached and brought the snacks.

I wanted to let you know I feel bad for you. I don't have a solution for you except as you know --- if you touch just one kid you have done a wonderful thing.

As an aside - we just buried my brother and the memorial was today. A coach from many years ago read it in the paper and came to the service. My brother was 44 years old, so you know how long ago it must have been that he knew that coach. That was a great thing for us, as his family, to see.

Sorry if I have gone on and on with no help to you.|||Just don't listen to them; tune them out. I have seen parents fight behind the dugout during a game one time and the coach was so used to blocking out parents that he had no idea what was going on ten feet behind him. Get the head coach on the same page as you. If you both stick to an arrangement of how to handle parents, then parents will either submit to your demands or pull the athlete. Any athlete that does not respect their coach always received little playing time, but that was back in my day when ice covered the Earth and we played with rocks.

What are good questions to ask a creativity coach?

I have to interview someone for my college paper and a creativity coach seems really interesting. I don't know anything about them and I have to ask open ended questions. I can't seem to think of any good questions to ask and I was wondering if anyone could help me?|||I am a creative catalyst. Must be like this creative coach? Ask this, do you have a creative process? How much do you think this tennis coach makes?

I am curious how much $ this coach makes: she is the boys tennis coach at a Catholic high school (college prep school in suburbs of Chicago). She is 40 years old and used to play tennis in college.

She is not a teacher at the school--she is just the tennis coach.|||Less than 3000 a season, maybe less than 2000..

This is for public school coaches, i'm not sure if it will differ for a cath. college prep school, but as coaches always say, its not the pay its just doing the job that make it worth it, because if you look at this, that's below minimal wage, so it sure as h#%%26amp; better not be for the money! hope this helps!|||I'm gonna say that she doesn't make as much as you might think. Coaching high-school sports doesn't really pay a whole lot. You're mostly there cause you love doing it. Now, with it being a private school, she probably gets a little more than she might at a public school.

The real money is in working at a tennis club. The club near me charges $62 per hour for private lessons. Sure, some of that goes to the club itself, but a good chunk of that also go straight to the instructor. Even coaching not at a club pays well. I took lessons from a guy, and we just used the local public school courts. Paid him $20 for a half-hour lesson. 100% of that went straight to him, cause there wouldn't be any court fees or anything. Now, that guy owns the club I mentioned.|||Tough to say since these thing can be negotiated and it will vary by school.

I actually knew how much the coach at my school was paid since he was a past student. I believed it came out to about 3000 for the season.

Not much, but considering that it is only a 2-3 hour job and it only last about 12-14 weeks or so.

But then again our school was public and our school was not well known for tennis. So i am guessing other school coaches were paid much better.|||More information is needed. A supplementary position in private schools - especially CHS - typically don't pay much. It would probably be significantly less than what one could make in a public school, it's not full-time and is more like a "stipend" position....perhaps a couple of thousand dollars ($2,000), tops.|||Much more than I do, hahaha.

What is the most comfortable airline to fly coach US to Australia?

I will be flying coach to australia in December. I am looking for the most comfortable airline to fly. Any suggestions?|||Hi.

It's not what is most comfortable that is the question, but how much you are willing to spend on the comfortable coach seat. I agree that VAustralia would probably be the best, however, these are relatively cheap tickets and you must be aware that these tickets are filling up FAST. After some quick research, i found that all up it would be about $900 USD. The good thing about VAustralia is that they have connections all across the US, however that is not direct with all flights merging to LA, and then across to Sydney or Brisbane.

The main problem which you could encounter, is the destination as VAustralia is only currently flying direct from Sydney and Brisbane to LA, with connections offset by either Virgin America or Virgin Blue.

If you wish to fly from other cities, eg San Fransisco, New York(and LA) direct then give Qantas a try. If you wish to travel on the exclusive A380, then Qantas flies from LA to Sydney 3 times a week (Fri, Wed, Sun) or to Melbourne (Mon, Wed). The new plane would make all the difference, however i am almost positive that this flight comes with the extra cost $$.

Either or, VAustralia or Qantas are both excellent selections.

Tip #1 - don't fly United what ever you do!

Goodluck

:)|||From North America V Australia and Air New Zealand are the best. From Europe Etihad airlines is the best.

How would you go about finding a vocal coach?

I am an actor, primarily, but I also love singing. I'm proficient at it. I have a good voice, but I need to learn about vocal control and strength, so I can hopefully become more heavily involved in musical theatre. How would you suggest I find a vocal coach? Do they advertise? Or should I just ask other singers? Thanks!|||I'm sure there are many advertisements for vocal teachers, but it would be a good idea to ask other singers since they could probably give you feedback on their teacher, and you could decide from what they all tell you and pick whoever sounds the best.

You could also try asking teachers who teach choir at school. Our teacher had several vocal coaches come to our class, and on certain days whoever signed up with them would go out and be with the coaches for half the class period.

Good luck!|||Okay hmm well Ive been doing acting singin and singing from as long as i can remember, and when i was in secondary school I decided to get a singing teacher/vocal coach and shes excellent. Search for them through schools or theatres, you can find brilliant ones there! My one is from a local Theatre and shes been with me for a few months now I find her a great help, real good at helping me control my voice.

What's the difference between an acting coach and mentor?

I'm sure that only people that are very familiar with the acting world would understand this, but what's difference? Can't an acting coach be your mentor? Does a mentor have to be a professional at all?

Thanks!|||Certainly your acting coach can be your mentor. A mentor advises, a coach teaches you things to use as an actor. It certainly does make sense if your mentor has been or is a professional in your area.

How do you become a beauty pageant coach?

I've never been interested in being IN beauty pageants, but I want to be a coach. I don't know how one begins being a coach, so please explain how. And if you've been in beauty pageants, or coached someone in pageants, please please please post.|||I currently compete in beauty pageants. In order for you to become a coach, you really need to be involved in the pageant community--otherwise you won't have any girls to coach. Mothers chose coaches who can help their daughters win, and this means experience. Try working as a vendor (Hair and Makeup, hair rolling, tanning, etc.) first. This will help you to establish yourself in the pageant community. Many coaches have first-hand experience and competed themselves, which is something that gives them an edge. If you sing or dance, advertise yourself as a talent coach and then you could perhaps expand. The best way though would probably be to help out a pageant coach, start off as an assistant coach. Eventually you may be made a partner, or you'll have enough experience and know-how to branch off on your own. Good luck!|||do lots o' ,meth. you'll fit televisions description

Who was the last coach to win a premiership in their 1st season as senior coach?

Who thinks that the Cats coach Chris Scott. can achieve this feat this year?|||Yeah I think Chris Scott has a really good chance this year. His team is playing great footy and the finals are closing in. To answer you question, the only person I can think of right now is Malcolm Blight. It wasn't his first year of senior coach, however it was his first year of senior coach for the Adelaide Crows when he led them to a premiership from 4th on the ladder in 1997 and 5th on the ladder in 1998.|||Scott has got a really good chance at doing it, if not Buckley will do it next year!!|||I'm sure that him and Cats will have a good crack at it. Nothing is impossible.|||Chris Scott

What do you make of the hiring process for a basketball coach at Arkansas to this point?

I am sick and embarrassed at how the process has gone so far. The fans are so eager to have a quality coach, and with all the starters returning it should be a great year next year. But it seems the U of A is either holding back or hiding something which is keeping the really good coaches from wanting to come to U of A.|||I'm not going to write an essay like the guy above me. Arkansas has a great program and fan base. I don't understand it. Arkansas deserves a good coach and they should have already had one. The SEC is a tough conference. Maybe you're right about something is going on. I can't figure out what's up with the AD.|||Also sick and embarrassed. Check this out...

Bacon Bits – We Are No Longer Mediocre…We Are Broken

Volume LVIII

April 2, 2007

The sports gods have been playing jokes on us. A dramatic plot has unfolded over the last few months that even Tom Clancy would be proud of.

And it climaxed today, at least one hopes, in the sudden resignation of new coach Dana Altman. This happened just hours after he called the Hogs, albeit poorly, at the press conference announcing his hire.

I really don’t know what to say. There is no way to ease the embarrassment that this year has been, much less the spotlight on our rejection from a coach who likely was in double digits on the list of targets.

Make no mistake Razorback Nation, this is a very deep problem. Despite what Dana Altman may say over the coming days, the real reason he had a “change of heart” has less to do with his fondness for Creighton than the upset stomach our program gave him as he began digging into his future team here at Arkansas.

Lavish praise on Frank Broyles if you would like for our fantastic facilities, but whatever you do don’t fail for one minute to recognize that he was absent at one of the most critical junctions of a coaching transition. It was apparent to all involved that Altman would have a difficult time making the transition from Omaha, Nebraska to Fayetteville, Arkansas. And despite the fact that he held a press conference yesterday - this hire, like all coaching hires, isn’t completed until the ink dries on a new contract.

So where was our illustrious leader today when Altman sat down to review the contract? Why in Augusta, of course. His little pastime of golf was more important to him than a seamless transition for Coach Altman into the program.

In the class “Closings 101” everyone learns that you hold hands and cuddle all the way to the end. But alas, bent grass fairways were a priority for Frank, not the University of Arkansas.

Can you imagine Chancellor White’s disdain at taking Altman through these precarious final steps without the salesman by his side? If you don’t think he’s chapped at Frank look no further than his abrupt announcement that a search firm would be hired in lieu of Frank’s expertise in the wake of this debacle. In the immortal words of Donald Trump…Frank – YOU’RE FIRED!

Friends, something is wrong in Fayetteville. Frank and his posse can keep telling us to look the other way but when a coach commits career suicide by backing out of a move after accepting the job there’s only one thing that should be obvious to us all. Our basketball program has some serious problems. Problems that should have been evident enough to our AD that he disclosed them during the sales pitch.

My guess is Altman found some things out that had he known on the front end would have kept him from ever accepting the position. We’ll likely never know what these issues were. Maybe he’s protecting players by not divulging what he found. Maybe he has enough integrity to leave and not publicly blame. I wasn’t crazy about his coaching record, but I was enamored by his obvious honesty and character.

So where does that leave us? We’re now about to re-embark on a coaching search that will no way include “grand-slam” candidates. We will be very lucky to get a decent mid-major coach to come here. In addition to the basketball issues our football program is on the precipice of being exposed for the sham we know it to be. And all the while, Nero fiddles on lush courses a thousand miles away.

Sometimes in order to fix things, they have to completely break first. And sometimes this breaking has to be painful on a grand scale. Unfortunately, that is where we are at. National media is touting Creighton’s superiority to the U of A. And if you aren’t embarrassed and shocked by this, well you’re not breathing.

The time has come for a reckoning. We will be given penance for years of gross mismanagement and cover-ups on the hill. This penance will include hiring lesser coaches and bringing in lesser talent…in both the football and basketball programs. Our Board of Trustees has a simple choice. We can either embrace the continuance of good-ole-boy governance, of ignoring elephants in the corners of our rooms, or we can make a clean sweep of our athletic department by outright firing the people who have gotten us in this mess and moving on.

To the Trustees I submit the following. I am at the end of my rope as a Razorback fan. The noose around this fan’s neck has been tightened by constant lies, vendettas and unprofessionalism. I have been cheated on and abused. The program I have long supported has been mocking me for years now. I am wise to it and nothing short of wholesale change will ever bring me back. I think I speak for thousands who feel the same.

The dawn of a new age is coming. In this new age my passions will be directed somewhere. You choose where they go.

How do I get ink out of my coach bag?

I forgot to recap my pen and threw it in my coach bag and now there is a big blue line on the liner of the purse. Any other time I wouldn't care if I got ink in my purse but my boyfriend paid a lot of money for this bag and I want to keep it in good condition. Is there anything I can use to get up out? |||You can use Hair Spray to get ink out but i dont know on a bag like that if you would want to risk it, i would recomment calling the company and asking what they recommend.

According to Coach's website here is the cleaning FAQ's, this has cleaning products, and tips at the bottom.

http://www.coach.com/cservice/FaqTemplat鈥?/a>

Good luck|||You didn't state what the lining is made of, but I'll assume that it is fabric. I have successfully removed ink stains (but not felt pen) from fabric by putting an absorbent cloth under the clothing item and pouring a small amount of rubbing alcohol on the ink and blotting it with another absorbent cloth. Change the cloth as necessary and add more rubbing alcohol. DO NOT RUB! Blotting keeps it from staining further. Be very careful not to let the rubbing alcohol run onto the leather. If the lining is fabric and you can pull it away from the main part of the bag, you can hand wash the lining. If the stain persists, let the fabric dry and repeat the rubbing alcohol method. It will come out eventually. My parents owned a dry cleaning business and this was the method that they used. It just take a bit of patience and perseverance.

|||If you have an ink blot on the inside of the bag and it did not seep through what is the problem? I don't understand? do you carry it inside out? who is more upset about it you or him? If it is a real stressful situation for you take it to a fur shop or a dry cleaners that specializes in leather goods.

I am hoping that this helps you

What are the ethics of bringing recruits with a departing coach to new program? Fair to recruit fm old school

Is there a general consensus among the coaching world? If the coach leaves, is it fair to ask inbound students to be released from LOIs to go to new school? Should the coach be hands off. Im 16 and one day i want to be a a basketball coach. i love the game. even though i don't play, i have a love for the game. I plan on majoring in Physical Education and coaching in college. Whats a good way for me to learn the system? where can i read other peoples comments, advice, plays, things like that. i want to start researching as soon as i can because i want to make a commitment to this career. Can someone give me the advice i need?|||You must be a player first, you must be familiar every position.|||Go to as many games as you can and start yelling at the referees. Thats the most important part of coaching.|||Does your community have a youth basketball program? You could volunteer to help coach a team or referee games. What does a football coach ask you when you want to play?

I really want to play football extremely badly next year. I signed up for it and they said to go to the head coach and talk to him if you want to play. What are some things I should ask a volleyball coach?

Well, I am doing a project at school about volleyball and coaching. With that said, it would be obvious that I am talking about a regular school coach that is also a teacher, not an advanced pro rep coach. Should I ask him about team stuff? Or, about the way he coaches?|||Well since you are doing a project on both then you should probobly ask alittle about both. Maybe ask to watch a game or go to a practice. I think my hockey coach is taking strides to be involved in a relationship with me?

I am an 18 year old Senior in my high school in Vermont. Our coach is a 21 year old female (Tells alot about the program up here in Vermont). My coach is always engaging in awkward conversations with me and says that I look like Vincent Lecavalier, whom she says she would "let take her away in a split second". What should I do? She is very attractive but Im at a lost for answers.|||Show her your best "poke check". And since there is no penalty now for high sticking (18 makes it okay) go 5 hole and score. Based on the fact you have a 21 year old girl coaching your team this could prove to be the only time you "score".|||i would love for that to happen....you are 18 and considered an adult go for it|||No...|||Tap that @$$!|||Take the blow and leave.|||Sleep your way to the 1st line!|||Dear Penthouse Forum:

What does it take to become a college basketball coach?

I am a Freshman in college and I am not good enough to play college ball but I am smart enough to coach college ball. I have been about coaching lately and want to change my major. What major would best suit my goals? I obviously don't think that I would just be able to start as a head coach right away, so are there any other jobs that I could do to work my way up the ladder?|||Connections, connections, connections. It is the quintessential old boy network.

You need to 1. go talk to the head coach of your school and ask about becoming a manager. 2. Start working basketball camps in the summer, not only to network but also to learn. 3. Write to college coaches and ask them questions. Do this in the off season as their mind is usually on other things during the season. 4. Attend the Final 4. The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) holds its convention every year at the final four. Every college coach in America is there. Its a great place to network. 5. Attend coaching clinics. Nike and others sponsor them across the country. 6. July is an open recruiting period when college coaches attend AAU tournaments, etc. Go to these tournaments and start talking to coaches. I know a lot of people who have gotten jobs this way. 7. Be prepared to live below the poverty line for your first job.

Work on your networking skills as much or more than your coaching skills!

What is the appeal of a Coach logo bag?

I personally find them tacky and distasteful. Coach made classic and beautiful leather bags in the 1960's, but suddenly the Coach "C" embossed canvas logo emerged and now everyone owns one. What is the appeal of a Coach logo bag?|||showing off that you spent money on a "coach" bag. its all about image. like having a shirt plastered with abercrombie and fitch. i personally don't see the point in paying so much for something and then having to show off they're name and making the more rich than they already are.|||It shows that you can afford to buy designers- that you spent money at Coach on a bag. It's just a status symbol.|||People (including me) think that they are really cute. But they do still have ones that don't have tons of "C"s all over the bag. In fact, my dad got my mom a few Coach bags for her birthday and 2 or 3 of them don't have "C"s all over them. Plus, it is just a symbol like LV or Chanel, it shows that you can afford a Coach bag.

How much does a personal college admissions coach cost?

I am interested in paying for personal advising sessions with a college admissions coach (also called college counselors) for my college bound daughter. I want to make sure that she gets all the advice she needs to write the best possible applications for top schools. I have seen some information online but they never show a price. How much should I expect to pay and how long should I expect each session to be?|||I am an educational consultant and college planner and have been working with students for more than twenty years. I help them find colleges that are a good fit, review and critique applications and essays,

advise on college visits, recommendations and interviews, and provide college assistance throughout the college admissions process. I charge $2600 for unlimited sessions and $150 for hourly work.

Most families feel it is the best investment they have made because often I am able to help them save money in the end. I have a website that you can go to and email me from any page with questions. It is http://www.collegedirection.org.|||A lot more than they're worth. Most counselors charge north of $100 per hour, or a flat rate in the thousands of dollars for each school they work on with your daughter. And a lot of admissions officers know how to spot the students who've gotten that kind of help on their essays, because they end up sounding similar to all the other essays the counselors have helped with, and that's not going to be to your daughter's advantage. If there's an English teacher or someone else she already knows whose writing skills she respects, she should work with that person instead.|||In my personal opinion, these coaches are not worth the cost and will seriously leave a dent in your bank account. There is tons of free information out there and a lot of great information in books that can help your daughter have the best application possible. Think about it, if she's motivated enough to do the research on her own (by looking up information online, reading books about the college process, and talking with her school counselor), then she's probably ivy material.

I would start by checking out http://princetonreview.com and http://collegeboard.com to get advice and information about specific colleges. Also check out http://www.makecollegereality.com for free advice about the application process. That site also has a list of the top rated books that can help you and your daughter navigate the process if you still have more questions.|||It really depends, but expect in the thousands, easily.

I have found that it is much better to do your own research than to rely on someone else's advice. They may claim they know it all when it comes to colleges, but they probably do not. Go to your local bookstore and look at books about getting into the most competitive schools. Also, try to interact with your daughter's guidance counselor, who has a lot of information (for free!).|||I do private admissions counseling and I charge $100 an hour and we can do anything you'd like, or I have set prices for packages. I'm actually considered cheap compared to others (many are $200+ per hour, plus an initial consultation fee). If you are interested, I'm located in NY (Long Island, but if you are in NYC, that's possible, too) and can be reached by e-mail at OzConsultantsLI@gmail.com or on here at my personal e-mail address, ridiculousquestions@yahoo.com

I've gotten plenty of students into top schools. This includes students whose guidance counselors told them they stood no chance.|||I am a certified college admissions counselor (UCLA) and I would say the prices the other commentors mention are correct ballpark amounts. However, virtually everything else they have said is incorrect.

I suggest you contact the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and ask this question as well as a referral to some counselors in your area. IECA has a code of ethics re counseling and will be able to answer your questions and address any concerns you have. Check their website and call them.

Where do people find personal athletic training coach for the olympics and how much does it usually cost? Is there a website about it?

Thanks!|||They usually find the coaches where they train, like how Shawn Johnson got her coach. She went into a gym at 6, and they both have been training for a decade.

How can I be sure a coach handbag is authentic?

I am wanting to get my mother a coach handbag for her birthday. I don't really want to pay full retail but I'm a little fearful that I might not get authentic coach if I use ebay or another bargain route. Can you tell me how to be 100% certain I've gotten an authentic coach bag?|||Hello. It's very difficult to know an authentic bag just from a picture alone. But here's a a tip if you are thinking about getting one online. Ebay is likely the ONLY place online you will get an authentic bag. All of those "wholesale" houses and such you see are fakes. Coach does not "wholesale" to anyone except designated, approved botiques and stores and NONE of them are online. You may find an occassional blog where an individual is selling a few authentic bags but your choices will be so limited.

Ebay really is a great place. You just have to be careful. The good guys far outnumber the bad on that site. Here's a link to a "Spotting Fake Coach on Ebay" book. Even if you don't buy the book there's a sign up form that will give you free tips on spotting fakes...pretty good stuff! Hope that helps!

I am considering getting another part time job at the Coach store (retail purses) as a seasonal holiday worker. Can anyone give me detail on working there? What coach received the most unjustified firing in college football history?

I'm talking about when a coach is doing a good job, but still gets fired. Some examples include Glen Mason (Minnesota), David Cutcliffe (Misssippi), and Frank Solich (Nebraska). I think firing Solich after a 9-3 season was the worst decision ever. What do the rest of you think?|||Dan McCarney at Iowa State. In his last 7 years at Iowa State, they went to 5 bowl games. Firing Solich was a bad idea, but would probably look better in hindsight if they had hired somone halfway decent to replace him.|||I don't know THAT much about college football head coaches other than what I've learned/read the past few years.

But,Solich went 10-3 that season, and you're right, it was ridiculous. Jeff Bower was just fired at Souther Mississippi after bringing the Golden Eagles to 11 bowls (6-5 record). Sorry I didn't give you an exact answer, but it's something.|||Firing Frank Solich was in my opinion incredibly wrong and a big mistake. Does anyone know how to clean a Coach purse w/out buying their cleaners? Whould it be ok in a washing machine?

Its a Coach hobo.. just a little suede around zipper and little leather on handle. Thanks!|||Do not put it in the washing machine.|||Ok, it has leather, and suede so that rules out the washing machine right off the bat. Also, since it's a purse and not meant to go into the washing machine, I can pretty much tell you right now if you do that, you are going to shrink your purse. Take it to a dry cleaner OR if you don't want to pay the money get a bit of detergent and mix it with hot water, take a soft sponge or a washcloth and wash it by had, making sure that the rag or sponge is only DAMP not soaking wet. You don't want to soak the purse, just get it damp enough to clean it. Then either leave it in the sun to dry or use a blow dryer on the cold setting. Or just put in somewhere in your house for it to sit for awhile until it dries.|||A Coach purse in the washing machine?! Jesus girl are you out of your mind??!!

NO, it is not ok to machine wash!!

Take a baby wipe and wipe the outside of it to get it clean. either that, or take it to be dry-cleaned or to a leather cleaner.

What are your thoughts on hiring a Life Coach or a Business Coach without a college degree?

What are your thoughts on hiring a Life Coach or a Business Coach that was trained in coaching, skilled and experienced in business and life, but did NOT have a degree?|||Hi Lori,

It depends on how you feel they can help you, and what they are saying they can do to help you. I am a Life %26amp; Business Coach and do have a degree, however it is nothing compared to my experience of traveling the world and learning/interacting with my own two hands. I successfully own %26amp; operate my own company, but again, I am able to help my clients in a wide variety of ways...That is what keeps me going strong.

If I can be of more help, please email me direct: Lou@attainmentlife.com|||Hello,

I think it's important to have both education and experience, but it is whatever you're comfortable with. Although you cannot learn how to help others achieve their goals out of a textbook, having a degree that is at a minimum a bachelor's shows a potential client that the coach has advanced academically and personally. It's work obtaining a degree and I personally would not hire a coach without one.

Hope that helps.

How does someone become a personal life coach?

I have a friend with a TON of degrees, along with an impressive resume'. She has done a lot of corporate work in terms of "fixing," difficult situations within high power companies. So how could she become a personal life coach? Thanks so much.|||All she has to do is open a business and call herself a "personal life coach." Coaching is not a regulated field, so anyone can call themselves a coach and charge whatever they want.|||Although a person may be good at working in a corporate culture, they may not be a good life coach. There has been a movement in the past 10 years towards coaching as a model of helping people in stead of counseling, which has the stereotype of being for those dealing with mental illness. Coaching gives those with the know how the opportunity to share their knowledge and insights with others. However, because it is not regulated, there are a lot of people who should not be in that role out there trying to earn a buck off vulnerable people.

Although it is not regulated at this point in the U.S., there are some very good programs to help a person learn about the ethics of coaching, the legal aspects of it, how to market your business, etc. Its well worth it and helps one define and set up their business. With so many folks hanging their shingle claiming to be life coaches these days, she will want some credentials that reflect her commitment to coaching. She will also want to find her niche as there are so many types of coaching. She will also need to know how to cover her posterior in the event she has a client who wants to sue her, etc. It's not as easy as just doing it and I'd highly recommend she do her homework before starting up.

international coach federation is a good place to start researching about what coaching is, where to learn more about the field...|||Don't know.

How should a coach handle trash talking on Facebook?

I am a high school volleyball coach. Although I am not Facebook friends with any of my athletes, it was recently brought to my attention that some of my star athletes (those who I thought were team leaders) have been trash talking the coaching staff on their pages. Other than keeping a printed record of these posts, how should I address this issue?|||My initial thought was, "Make them work harder and tire them out at practice!!!" More drills, longer practice, more times a week, etc. But that will obviously lead to more criticism and trash talk, correct? That's where I see the problem; you can't really fix that overnight.

I'm just a 17 year old kid, so hell if I know haha But I'd definitely confront the players about it, maybe not in front of everyone, but at least after practice or before practice. It's just rude and disrespectful of them, especially if you truly are doing your job correctly and efficiently.

So all in all, I'd talk to them, being pretty stern about it, and punish them with more drills or practice, whichever you prefer. They need to understand that they have a consequence for their actions.|||I think you should bring up the matter with the school administration! There may be a policy about Facebook et al., or one about out-of-school actions of students.

How do you become a college basketball coach?

I am on the varsity basketball in my pretty large town, but am not good enough to play college. How can i become a coach?|||First off they require a College degree. Secondly while you are going to college try to get on the coaching staff as a volunteer or graduate assistant position. This will get you started on the right road. Similar to the way Lawerance Frank got to be an NBA coach for the NJ Nets.

Raised in Teaneck, New Jersey, Frank graduated from Teaneck High School, but never made the school's basketball team. Frank spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the Vancouver Grizzlies under Brian Hill. Hill would later serve as Frank's assistant with the New Jersey Nets. His responsibilities with the Grizzlies included scouting upcoming opponents as well as practice and bench coaching duties.

Before joining the Grizzlies, Frank served as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee for three seasons under Head Coach Kevin O'Neill. Frank first worked with O'Neill as a volunteer staff assistant at Marquette University in 1992 and during his tenure, helped lead the Marquette Warriors to two NCAA tournament berths and a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 1994.

Frank earned his B.S. in education from Indiana University in 1992, where he spent four seasons as a manager for the Hoosier basketball team led by Bob Knight. How can I convice my ice skating coach to teach me harder things?

My ice skating coach and I have been working on the same jump for months. I am really good at it, but she still will not teach me new things! What can I do?|||Tell your coach that you would really like to learn some new things while perfecting that last jump. Your coach probably wants to make sure you are experiencing success and are getting the basics down before he/she pushes you on to more difficult things, and should explain to you why you shouldn't move on yet if you ask (it could be you have some bad habit in Xjump that they don't want you to carry on into Yjump -I know that was the case for me with double sal from axel). Even if your coach is hesitant to introduce a new jump yet, maybe he/she will teach you some new spirals, spins, or other moves to keep you from getting bored. If you still really feel like you need to learn a new jump and your coach still will not teach you one after you tell him/her that, I would consider talking to another coach and maybe switching to one who will be more willing to let you decide the pace at which you learn things.|||I would suggest talking to your coach and asking them what you need to do better so that you can move on to other things.
