What is the appeal of a Coach logo bag?

I personally find them tacky and distasteful. Coach made classic and beautiful leather bags in the 1960's, but suddenly the Coach "C" embossed canvas logo emerged and now everyone owns one. What is the appeal of a Coach logo bag?|||showing off that you spent money on a "coach" bag. its all about image. like having a shirt plastered with abercrombie and fitch. i personally don't see the point in paying so much for something and then having to show off they're name and making the more rich than they already are.|||It shows that you can afford to buy designers- that you spent money at Coach on a bag. It's just a status symbol.|||People (including me) think that they are really cute. But they do still have ones that don't have tons of "C"s all over the bag. In fact, my dad got my mom a few Coach bags for her birthday and 2 or 3 of them don't have "C"s all over them. Plus, it is just a symbol like LV or Chanel, it shows that you can afford a Coach bag.

Everyone is wearing them and sheeple (*cough* sorry, PEOPLE) like to conform and follow everyone else.|||It's high status you get when you're seen with a coach bag. Just like how an abercrombie shirt is made with the same material as a wal-mart shirt, but has the name abercrombie on it, and people buy it cause of that. You're paying for the name brand.|||the coach logo means u have a coach bag. they look cool when they do them right and it is cool looking and c is a popular letter|||for most people it's become a status symbol, like LV monogram handbags, albeit being very tacky.|||I think they're cute.|||Coach's logo bag goes with everything. If you pay to have a coach bag, you might as well have the logo on it visible.
