What do you think about a coach who threw a broken stick at a player ?
I know a coach-Iain Duncan, formerly of Toledo Cherokee,2010, who got mad and threw a broken stick boomerang style ,which missed someones face literally by a few inches, a player that wasnt looking -who could have been blinded. Should this guy ever coach again ?|||If it were up to me I would ban a guy like that... easily. If a coach can't control himself then he shouldn't be there. I don't care how tough the game is on the ice... I don't care how violent the players can be with each other. Coaches should have different standards. If I played for a coach who lost it like that I would have no respect for him. I'd ban him for life. I can guarantee you that it would never happen again from any future coach. And that shows that incidents like that can be controlled.|||I would say in that case there should definately be some kind of disipline handed down but I'm not that quick to insist on someone being fired. People will get mad and do dumb things, but obviously when the dumb things you do can get someone hurt they have to be taken seriously. If he has a history of doing this kind of thing, and has already been warned about it in the past then eventually him being fired could be an option.|||Sure, provided he take some anger management course similar to Bobby Knight's dilemma.|||Suspend him for a season and make him take some anger management sessions.
