How do I convince my dad to be our basketball coach next year?

So my other coach is retiring and he said that if someone else doesn't ask for the job, this other guy will get it. This other guy is a pain in the ***, and he is so mean. Like, he yells for nothing. My dad used to play basketball in high school, and he used to coach at a middle school. We really need him to coach us. All of the players on the team want him as our coach. I ask him, but he doesn't give me an answer. We start practicing early, and we really need him. Any ideas?|||Tell your dad that this is really important to you and how much you and your team would appreciate it. Say that it would be another way you could spend time together, after all you don't have much time left together before you move away from home.
